The Power Snappy Model M from Granite Industries is an industry first. Combining the versatility of a scaffold with the power of an electric drive train, the Power Snappy is the ultimate full service machine. Engineered, manufactured and assembled in the Ohio plant, the Power Snappy has been carefully crafted and is built to last.
The Model M is the perfect size for a wide variety of jobs. The walkboard height is adjustable from 24″- 60″. This allows for easy access to standard 8′ ceilings. A smaller footprint and smaller price tag make this a more affordable option than the Model L.
Manpower productivity is enhanced over stepladders and standard scaffold in many cases by reducing the wasted moving devices and continual climbing up and down. The platform comes complete with guardrails which provides workers with a safe working area, especially compared to ladders.
The electric powered scaffold provides many advantages over a engine driven scissor lift. It is environmentally friendly as it produces zero emissions. This feature also allows it to be used indoors. The electric motor is extremely quiet and allows for indoor use any time of day. The electric drive train is also suitable for outdoor use, increasing the versatility of the Power Snappy. Additionally, the Model M is very light (300 lb) compared to scissor lifts (1000 lb+) allowing the Power Snappy to be used on flooring where a scissor lift is too heavy.

Hi Justin, we have looked becoming CAL-OSHA compliant with our Power Snappy’s in the past and were unable to find a compatible software code for our Power Snappy controllers to meet their requirements. We may look into this again in 2020 as technology has changed and improved with our controllers.

Can the Model M be outfitted with outriggers like the model L? And if so, what is the minimum height the model M can be when the outriggers are installed?

The Model M is able to be outfitted with the outriggers like the Model L. With the outriggers in place, the lowest deck height would be about 42″.

If you have any other questions please feel free to give us a call: 877-447-2648 . Thanks!

Hi Charles, the theoretical full charge time is 7 hours ( 35 amp hr battery / 5 amp hr charger = 7 hrs). We recommend charging the battery overnight as it allows the smart charger to optimize battery health and charge. The battery packs are removable, so I would consider purchasing a second battery pack (PN: 18713) and a second charger (PI-11-0191). That would allow you to have one battery pack ready and charged at all times. If you have any additional questions or need for pricing please give us a call: 877-447-2648 or you can send us an email: support@graniteind.com.

Hi Conor, good question! Our Power Snappy falls under the OSHA standard of a rolling scaffold, not a MEWP. We recommend all operators familiarize themselves with our manual: https://www.graniteind.com/PDFs/PowerSnappyManualV5.0.pdf and follow the daily check list: https://www.graniteind.com/PDFs/Power-Snappy-Daily-Check-List.pdf.
